Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited (PSX: FFC) pays a cash dividend four times a year: three interim dividends with its quarterly results and a final dividend with its annual results in late January. In 2026 its board has declared Rs 41.50 per share so far (Rs 8.50 + Rs 14.50 + Rs 18.50), already more than the Rs 37.00 it paid for the whole of 2025. This page lists every FFC payout on the PSX record, explains how to read the dates, works out the yield at today's price and looks at what decides the next payout. Payouts are from the PSX data portal, checked on 30 October 2026. It is education, not investment advice.
What is the FFC dividend history?
PSX shows a company's payouts as a percentage of the Rs 10 face value, so 185% means Rs 18.50 a share. These are all eight payouts FFC has on the PSX data portal, newest first:

What is the FFC dividend for 2026?
Rs 41.50 a share has been declared for 2026 so far, in three interim payouts. That is 46% more than the Rs 28.50 of interims at the same point in 2025. The final dividend for 2026, if there is one, will come with the annual results; in each of the last two years those arrived on 29 January.
Each 2026 payout was bigger than the one before it: Rs 8.50 for the first quarter, Rs 14.50 for the second and Rs 18.50 for the third. On FFC's 1,439,023,262 shares (PSX data portal), the third interim alone comes to about Rs 26.6 billion in cash.
When is the next FFC dividend date?
The next date that matters is the ex-date of the Rs 18.50 dividend. Book closure starts on Monday 9 November 2026, which is also the Allama Iqbal Day holiday, so the market is shut that day. Under PSX's T+1 settlement, a share bought on Friday 6 November only settles on Tuesday 10 November, after the register has closed (PSX timings and holidays). By our reading of the rule, that makes:
- Thursday 5 November: the last day to buy and still get the Rs 18.50
- Friday 6 November: the ex-date, when the symbol trades as FFCXD and the price is expected to drop by about the dividend
Check the XD flag on the PSX data portal on the day before acting on these dates. After that, the next announcement is the annual result and any final dividend, which has come in late January in each of the last two years. The board must give PSX at least a week's notice of the meeting, and the events calendar shows it as soon as it is filed.
How do I read an FFC dividend announcement?
An FFC announcement gives the payout, the period it covers and the book closure dates. In PSX's short code, "185%(iii) (D)" means a 185% cash dividend (D), the third interim (iii) of the year; "(F)" marks the final.
- Convert the percentage. Divide by 10 for the rupee amount, because FFC's face value is Rs 10. 185% is Rs 18.50.
- Note the book closure dates. Shareholders on the register when the books close receive the dividend.
- Work out the ex-date. It is one settlement day before book closure starts. Buy before the ex-date to qualify.
- Expect the cash later, less tax. The company pays straight into the bank account linked to your CDC or broker account.

How much of its profit does FFC pay out?
About seven-tenths, on recent numbers. For 2025, FFC earned Rs 51.69 per share and paid Rs 37.00, a payout ratio of 72%. In the first half of 2026, it earned Rs 29.08 per share (Rs 12.14 in the first quarter and Rs 16.94 in the second) and declared Rs 23.00, or 79%.
| EPS (Rs) | Dividend (Rs) | Paid out | |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2025 (full year) | 51.69 | 37.00 | 72% |
| First half of 2026 | 29.08 | 23.00 | 79% |
EPS from the PSX data portal's financials tab (standardised by Capital Stake; the company's own report is the "as reported" source), checked 30 October 2026. The third-quarter EPS is in FFC's results announcement of 28 October 2026.
Profit has also grown. FFC's annual EPS on the same PSX page went from Rs 15.76 in 2022 to Rs 23.32 in 2023, Rs 45.49 in 2024 and Rs 51.69 in 2025, and sales rose from Rs 159 billion in 2023 to Rs 374 billion in 2024. A jump that size usually means the company itself changed, not just its prices, so read the annual report's notes before comparing years.
What drives the FFC dividend?
FFC's dividend follows its profit and cash, and these are the parts of the business that move them:
- Fertilizer sales. FFC makes, buys and sells fertilizers and chemicals (company profile on the PSX data portal). Volumes and prices of urea, its main product, set most of the revenue.
- Gas. Urea plants use natural gas as feedstock and fuel, so the price and supply of gas the government allocates to fertilizer plants feeds straight into margins.
- Government policy and tax. Changes to fertilizer prices, subsidies, levies or company tax reduce or raise what is left to distribute.
- Investments. FFC also holds stakes in fertilizer, chemical, cement, power, food, engineering and banking businesses. Their profits and dividends add to its own.
- The board's payout policy. The board decides each quarter how much to pay and how much to keep. A 72% payout ratio leaves room to raise or cut.
The reading company results lesson shows where to find each of these in a results announcement.
What is FFC's dividend yield at today's price?
About 8.9% before tax, on the last four payouts declared. FFC declared Rs 50.00 a share over the last twelve months (the Rs 8.50 final for 2025 plus Rs 41.50 of 2026 interims). At the PSX price of Rs 564.85 on 30 October 2026 (9:59 am), that is 50.00 ÷ 564.85 = 8.85%.
After 15% withholding tax, a filer keeps Rs 42.50 of that Rs 50.00, a yield of about 7.5%. The yield moves every day with the price, and a past payout is no promise of the next one. The FFC stock page has today's price.
Worked example: 100 FFC shares and the Rs 18.50 dividend
Suppose you own 100 FFC shares before the ex-date of the third interim.
| Filer (on the Active Taxpayers List) | Non-filer | |
|---|---|---|
| Gross dividend (100 × Rs 18.50) | Rs 1,850.00 | Rs 1,850.00 |
| Tax withheld | Rs 277.50 (15%) | Rs 555.00 (30%) |
| Paid into your bank | Rs 1,572.50 | Rs 1,295.00 |
On the ex-date the share price is expected to fall by roughly the Rs 18.50, so buying just before it only to collect the dividend leaves you no better off after tax. The dividend calculator does this sum for any share and any number of shares.
Is the FFC dividend taxed?
Yes. The company deducts withholding tax before paying you: 15% if you are on FBR's Active Taxpayers List and 30% if you are not, the standard rates for dividends from most listed companies. Our tax on shares guide lists every rate with its FBR source. Zakat may also be deducted from the dividend unless you have filed a CZ-50 declaration.
FFC is a member of the Shariah-compliant KMI-30 index, and it is on our full KMI-30 list. For other payers to compare it with, see best dividend stocks in Pakistan or sort every PSX share by yield on the dividends page.
