1. 0:04Assalam-o-Alaikum, welcome to danioPSX. Aaiye seekhein, financial independence ke liye.Assalam-o-Alaikum, welcome to danioPSX. Let's learn, for financial independence.
2. 0:14Ye hai lecture number two. Aaj hum seekhenge stock market kya hai, share kya hota hai, aur shares se profit kin teen tareeqon se hota hai. This is lecture two. Today we learn what the stock market is, what a share is, and the three ways shares make a profit.
3. 0:26Stock market wo jagah hai jahan log companies ke chhote hisse khareedte aur bechte hain. Pakistan mein ye PSX hai, jo twenty sixteen mein teen exchanges mila kar bana.A stock market is where people buy and sell small pieces of companies. In Pakistan it is PSX, formed in 2016 by merging three exchanges.
4. 0:40Aap trade licensed broker ke zariye karte hain. SECP regulator hai, aur CDC aapke shares aapke apne naam ke sub-account mein rakhta hai, broker ke naam par nahi. You trade through a licensed broker. SECP is the regulator, and CDC holds your shares in a sub-account in your own name, not the broker's.
5. 0:53Company apni ownership ko barabar hisson mein baant deti hai, jinhein shares kehte hain. OGDC ke sau shares khareedein, to aap us company ke chhote se hisse ke maalik hain. Aur risk bhi aapka hai.A company divides its ownership into equal parts called shares. Buy 100 OGDC shares and you own a tiny slice of that company. And the risk is yours too.
6. 1:08Khareedne wale zyada hon to price upar jaati hai, bechne wale zyada hon to neeche. Company results, interest rates, oil prices, IMF aur global news ye mood badalte hain.More buyers push the price up, more sellers push it down. Company results, interest rates, oil prices, the IMF and global news change that mood.
7. 1:17Kya ye jua hai? Udhaar le kar tips ke peeche bhagein, to haan. Lekin achi companies ka hissa sensible price par le kar saalon hold karna jua nahi.Is it gambling? If you borrow and chase tips, yes. But buying part of good companies at sensible prices and holding for years is not gambling.
8. 1:32Ab doosra lesson: shares se paisa kaise banta hai. Teen tareeqe hain: price gain, cash dividend aur bonus shares. Sab mila kar total return banta hai.Now the second lesson: how shares make money. There are three ways: price gains, cash dividends and bonus shares. Together they make your total return.
9. 1:47Pehla, price gain. Share three hundred mein liya aur three sixty mein becha, to sixty rupay ka capital gain. Lekin bechne se pehle profit sirf kaghaz par hai.First, price gains. Buy at Rs 300 and sell at Rs 360, and that's a Rs 60 capital gain. But until you sell, the profit is only on paper.
10. 2:01Doosra, cash dividend: company profit ka hissa shareholders ko deti hai. PSX par ye face value ka percentage hota hai, aksar ten rupay. Yaani hundred percent dividend matlab ten rupay fi share.Second, cash dividends: the company shares part of its profit. On PSX it is a percentage of face value, usually Rs 10. So a 100% dividend means Rs 10 per share.
11. 2:18Teesra, bonus shares: cash ke bajaye extra shares. Twenty percent bonus matlab har das shares par do naye. Company wahi rehti hai, is liye price adjust ho jaati hai.Third, bonus shares: extra shares instead of cash. A 20% bonus means 2 new shares for every 10. The company stays the same, so the price adjusts.
12. 2:28Aur compounding: dividends dobara invest karein aur hold karein, to munafe par munafa banta hai. Time sab se bada saathi hai, lekin guarantee koi nahi. And compounding: reinvest dividends and keep holding, and returns build on returns. Time is your biggest ally, but nothing is guaranteed.
13. 2:43To aaj humne seekha: share company mein ownership hai, profit price gain aur dividend se aata hai, aur time ke saath compounding. Homework: danioPSX par dono lessons parhein. So today we learned: a share is ownership in a company, profit comes from price gains and dividends, and compounding works over time. Homework: read both lessons on danioPSX.
